Restoring Independence

Smart Vision Glasses act like a seeing companion. They quietly observe the environment and let the wearer know when something is in front of them — like a wall, a person, or an object in their path. Instead of relying only on a cane or guesswork, the user gets simple sound cues and clear spoken guidance that help them avoid obstacles and make better decisions while walking.

At its heart, this project is about restoring independence. It gives blind people a way to “sense” their surroundings through sound and conversation, allowing them to move with more assurance, dignity, and freedom.

Interactive Guidance

What makes these glasses special is that they are interactive. The user can ask questions like "What is in front of me?", "Is it safe to move forward?", or "Where should I go?". The glasses respond with calm, helpful answers, providing just enough guidance at the right moment without overwhelming the user.
